Originally from the small Lithuanian town of Rietavas, Kristina moved to Germany in 2010, where she completed her studies at the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences (2014). There she completed her studies as a game and animation designer. Her creative practice ranges from illustration to fine art, video, collage, installations, books, posters, animation, murals, clothing and wearable art.
She has shown her work in galleries in New York, Frankfurt, Berlin, Vilnius, Barcelona and beyond.
Kristina has worked with various clients and publishers including Samsung, Monosuit Inc., Adidas, Birkenstock, Jost Bags, Samsonite, Armani, Blonde Magazine, Nylon Magazine, Crocs, Disaronno, Die Dame Magazine, 25hours Hotel, Escada, The Body Shop, Lunette, The Design Kids, People Of Print, and a few more.
Under the ideology of "little things that matter the most", Kristina channels her love of nature, curiosity, solitude and hidden beauty into her abstract artworks, hiding big stories in the smallest details, you just have to look a little closer.
Apart from the fact that Kristina is always a welcome friend of the house, she has also worked with MORGEN on one or two projects. In 2016 she designed one of the elevators for our design concept at the 25Hours The Trip Hotel and more recently she designed a wall on the upper floor in a wine bar we redesigned.
We are enthusiastic about her style and her diversity, which is why we are pleased to present you a series by Kristina in our online shop. The series consists of 8 framed illustrations and is called THE THINGS WE MISS. It's about what we really value and what values are really important to us. Of course it is also a reference to the time after Corona. An allusion to closeness and distance and to the things we love. It's about togetherness, being together and the company that we had to do without for a long time.
All unique and available in our online shop under SPECIALS.
