Redondo's quilted geometry is reminiscent of the West Coast. This seating line consists of two adjacent volumes and a seamless, upholstered seat shell that encloses the large seat cushions. The soft curves, without hard edges, are emphasized by the comfortable fabric and enriched by quilted patterns. These are reminiscent of the padded interiors of American cars of the 1950s and 1960s.
The Redondo bed is made of non-deformable polyurethane foam of different densities and a wooden structure. The slatted frames are height adjustable and fit standard European mattresses. The upholstery fabric is quilted based on a pattern designed by Patricia Urquiola. The Redondo bed model is removable.
