The X-CHAIR, a radical design by Hermann August Weizenegger for OUT, fascinates like an archaic structure. In the here and now, it sets standards in sustainability: made entirely from recycled plastic, fairly produced and traceable. Its matt black surface refracts the light. A statement in the living area and outdoors. Berlin brutalism with a contemporary touch – for a self-confident generation. It was presented at the Kunstgewerbemuseum Berlin in 2020 and has been part of the permanent exhibition ever since. From 2022 it will also be exhibited in the Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich.
